Tina Bakehouse, MA organized these Iowa performances after telling a story in the May 2016 (mostly) TRUE THINGS at The Performing Arts Studio in Port Jefferson, NY. She teaches Communication Studies at Creighton University, is an Executive Communication Coach, Farm To School educator, Creative Communication Workshop Facilitator and improviser.

Ron Hines is an actor and director, on the board of directors for LTD-Leadership Through Drama, Inc in Glenwood, IA  - which promotes leadership skills in young people through the arts - and an instructor for the LTD Movie-Making classes for LTD Kids Take The Stage program. Films written and directed by his students are on the LTD4Kids Youtube channel: He will be onstage as Lurch in The Addams Familymusical at the Wilson Performing Arts Center in late October.  He loves the process of telling a story on the screen and is so looking forward to getting up and telling a story live on stage.


Rita Paskowitz, MA is a rostered artist for the Nebraska Arts Council and Doane College Arts Are Basic program, as well as a teacher in the College of Education and the Certified Public Managers™ Program at University of Nebraska Omaha and University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Great Plains Public Health Leadership Institute. She is Storyteller-in-Residence at Ted E. Bear Hollow, a center for grieving children and teens, Co-Founder of Creative Healing, a program for processing grief through the arts, Co-Director of the national projectPublic Service Stories: Ask Me Why I Care and Director/Facilitator for Creative Healing, a weekly arts program at the Siena/Francis House/Miracles Treatment Center.


Alanna Reeves is a theater artist and educator who lives in Plattsmouth, NE. She facilitates a Teens 'N' Theater production, Broken Mirror, at The Rose Theater in Omaha, NE which helps female-identified teens to create a night of theater based on their lived experiences.  She was also recently awarded the Community of Hope Award from the American Cancer Society for her work on a locally-devised piece, The Cancer Stories Project.  She's had the privilege of touring in the US and Canada with Children's Theater troupes and has traveled as far as Karuizawa, Japan as a Theater for Social Change facilitator.
