(MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS is a game wrapped in a storytelling show. A crazy good line-up of 4 storytellers share true stories, but 3 of them include carefully-crafted little white lies. One person tells it completely straight. The audience gets to interview the storytellers (who are free to improvise their responses and under no obligation to tell the truth), then vote for the person they think told it straight. there is music - including a semi-improvised song with a verse about each story - and songs written for the show by host/creator jude treder-wolff and wells hanley. THE WHOLE TRUTH COMES OUT BY THE END, WITH THE HELP OF THE AUDIENCE.  Its a high-ENERGY, often hilarious sometimes emotion-packed and always entertaining show with AN AUDIENCE THAT IS A TON OF FUN. THERE ARE PRIZES INVOLVED. IF YOU CAN BELIEVE A THING LIKE THAT.

(mostly) TRUE THINGS is a unique entertainment experience -part cabaret, part storytelling, part whodonit - and always a great time! I’ve performed here and Jude is a terrific, engaging host and the audience is always warm and engaging.
— Tracey Segarra, Moth Grand Slam winner
I had a blast doing (mostly) TRUE THINGS! Jude Treder-Wolff is an incredible host and all the other storytellers were amazing! The Performing Arts Studio of NY is such a beautiful space and made the whole experience so relaxed and just wonderful. I look forward to doing it again.
— Award-winning writer/performer Bob Brader,
As a comedian telling the truth on the stage for 25 years, I’ve never had so much fun being a big fat liar...for the most part. Storytelling with (mostly) TRUE THINGS is such a fun experience, I would tell stories every month, if I had more exciting life. And that’s no lie.
— Award-winning Long Island-based comic Stevie GB
The best variety hour on Long Island.
— John Martin, Public Health Educator, improviser, storyteller
